It also has a slight pearlescent finish, something I’m not a fan off as it can appear to look quite frosty. I’m not keen on the formula as this particular colour feels sticky rather than creamy and I don’t find it settles well on my lips if they have any cracks and it can also feel quite drying and make my lips flake after a while if I have not used a lip scrub and moisturised my lips before applying. I have a love hate relationship with cremesheens as certain shades glide on to the lips smoothly and feel lovely while others feel sticky and drying. Overall a great everyday shade and I think it should be a staple product for everyone! I’ve not found a dupe for this colour so I’ll definitely be repurchasing once I run out. As it is an amplified finish, it is very creamy and glides on to my lips effortlessly, providing a complete opaque, glossy finish and does feel quite moisturising and therefore doesn’t dry out my lips. It has mauve/brown undertones so gives some dimension to the lips instead of looking straight up like a flat nude and doesn’t wash me out and give me concealer lips.

It may pull quite brown on paler skin tones and quite light on deeper skin tones but looks awesome with a brown lipliner. This is a great colour for all skin tones.

The nudes in my collection aren’t super nude and don’t give me full on concealer lips as I imagine something like MAC’s ‘Myth’, ‘Fleshpot’ or ‘Creme d’nude’ would do.

But instead of bombarding you with a post that rivals the word count of a PhD thesis including all 30 lipsticks, I’ve decided to break them down into six colour groups nudes, mauve/brown, everyday pink, bright pink, orange/red and finally plum/purple/vampy shades. I have 30 MAC lipsticks in my ever growing collection and I’m a huge fan of the colour range they offer and I think most of their formulas perform beautifully. All lip swatches are of the lipstick only and I have not used a lip liner underneath as I want you to see the true colour. This is not a video to brag about how many MAC lipsticks I own, but instead to help you decide whether or not you should purchase a certain shade by giving my opinion along with swatches. Since MAC lipstick collections are incredibly popular on YouTube and blogs, I thought I would share my collection with you all.
